The Hive are looking for 15 passionate young people to be part of our team, helping youth voices to be heard by policy makers in New Zealand.
If you’re selected, we’ll pay you to participate in a two-day creative design jam where you’ll learn heaps of skills and be part of making something amazing.
We’re looking for people who are:
- Aged 16 – 20 from anywhere in New Zealand
- Love to share your opinions
- Curious to learn about other people
- Creative and love to make things
- Understand the power of social media
- Keen to try something new
We welcome and encourage voices from Māori, Pasifika, Rainbow and Disability communities.
If successful, you’ll join The Hive team and 14 other young people for a hui in Auckland between Thursday 29th April and Saturday 1st of May 2021, coming up with creative ideas and solutions to connect young people like you with people who make important decisions about the future of Aotearoa.
If this sounds like you, fill in our application form, and put together a short 1 minute video that answers the following question:
What is the change you’d most like to see in the world?
The video you create can be as simple, or as creative as you like – but it must include your voice. We want to get to know you and what you’re passionate about.
Please upload your video to YouTube as ‘unlisted’.
Applications and videos must be submitted by 11pm Tuesday 7 March, and don’t forget to keep the weekend of 29 April – 1 May free!
If you have any questions, or would like any other information email firstname.lastname@example.org
We will notify all successful applicants by Friday 12 March.
